[vtkusers] Direct point coloring (RGB true-color)

Hi All,

I would like to assign RGB colors directly to each point of a 
polyhedron dataset. I've seen plenty of examples of mapping
scalars to RGB colors, but I couldn't find anything for this
simple direct color definition. 

I even tried to create a lookup table to map a 24 bit integer
directly to RGB components bit-by-bit but that doesn't work
because the lookup table can't be larger than 16bit (65536).

Could someone tell me how to define RGB colors per point
directly, please ?
