[vtkusers] debian packages?

Hello
I came across a google search that revealed that debian contained vtk packages.
However, whenever I ran apt-get install vtk.  It said that the packages existed in the dependancy
database, but did not exist.  How can I get these packages via apt?

Has anyone had success with the debian packages?
