If you purchase Activiz/COM from Kitware, it provides an ActiveX control
which can be used in .NET.  Visual studio will automatically wrap the
control using something called Aximp.exe when you add the control to
your project space toolbox.  Building a VTK pipeline is then a familiar
task.  It has worked well for me for the short time I've used it.
