[vtkusers] Polydata without cells to polydata with cells ?

Hi, all

I manually create a polydata by assigning the vtkpoints and scalardata.
By now, the polydata does not have any cells inside.
But if I want to contour it, cells are needed. (Is that right?)
I have try vtkDelaunay2D and vtkDelaunay3D as a filter.
 But after the filter are applied, the GetOutput()->GetNumberOfCells() still gets 0.

Why ? Help!!
