[vtkusers] vtk with java on linux

Hello,
	I have built an application using java and vtk 4.2. the application wroek
fine on windows. I tried running the same application on Linux(Redhat 9) and
faced following problem. I read a .stl file and load it into vtkCanvas. when
the object is loaded for the first time,  vtk native window appears on the
top left corner of the vtkCanvas. How can I disable the native vtk window
from appearing?
