[vtkusers] line up glyphs that vary in height

I'm using vtkGlyph3D with a vtkCylinderSource where the cylinders vary 
in height/radius based on a scalar.  The problem is that I want their 
bases to line up on a single plane.  Right now they all draw from their 
center point (all have the same z value) such that the heights don't mean 
very much.  Any ideas on how to accomplish this?
