[vtkusers] GetVisibility()

can anybody tell me in which file I will get to see the code of the method 
 

virtual int vtkProp::GetVisibility()[virtual] ? 

I wan the store all the z- values of my object ( eg: cone ) from the frame buffer.

I figure i can do this right before back face culling /removal is done.

Please correct me if I am wrong about this.
