[vtkusers] OSX, wxPython, and VTK

Is anyone using OSX, wxPython, and VTK together?

I'm thinking about moving my work from Linux on an old powerbook to a new
G4 iBook and OSX and I'd like to get some comments from folks working under
OSX. Are things stable enough to warrant buying a new iBook? I'd really 
love to
upgrade to OSX.

My other option is to get an Intel laptop and stick with Linux. Can 
anyone recommend
a Linux distro and hardware combination that will give me a relatively 
painless install
with working wireless and accelerated OpenGL?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
