[vtkusers] delete cells

Does anyone tried to interactively remove cells from a vtkPolyData ?
What I try to do is to remove and add cells from a mash dynamically 
I was using d->DeleteCell(cellid) and then Modified(); on the
vtkPolyData
I also tried an Update() call on the mapper.
