[vtkusers] eventloop

Hello

Can someone guide me on how to go about making my own event loop?

Im on a linux so I looked at the vtkXRenderWindowInteractor class but don't 
understand much in the Start() function since I don't know much about X 
programming..

ANyways should I be looking at this at all?
