[vtkusers] problem with vtkspheresource

Hello Everyone,
I have a problem with vtkspheresource.

I have a point set of 400,000 points.
I want to put glyphs in place of the points.

so iam using vtkprogrammableglyphsfilter and vtkspheresource.

The vtksphere source works fine as long as the resolution of phi and theta are less than 5. if it is 5 or more my program crashes, saying 
there is no memory!

Also the program works fine when the number of points are 40,000 but sphere resolution is high.

Can anyone please tell me that the problem could be.
