[vtkusers] vtkPolyData methods

dear all, 

I recently browsed again vtkPolyData documentation and there are still a few methods I don't understand.
The Set/GetUpdateExtend method are apparently implemented to be compliant with the above vtkDataSet corresponding virtual methods but are not supposed to be used.
What about the following methods :
GetNumberOfPieces,
GetPiece,
GetGhostLevel,
RemoveGhostCells
are they of any use ? If yes, could someone explain them to me , please ?
