[vtkusers] VTK 4.4 don't build vtk.jar file?

Thanks for taking the trouble to investigate this.

What about David Marshburn's workaround: just compile the java files
and build the jar file by hand?  I didn't do that because I was
worried that some other step was missing.  Do you know whether
that's the case?
