[vtkusers] Finding color value in 24-bit image.

Hello all,
i'm trying to find a way of accessing the RGB color value of a 24-bit image
at a certain pixel, e.g. pixel (34, 100).  Previously i've got this to work
by using a lookup table but the image had to be in 8-bit color and
therefore, lost a lot of detail.  I've very confused over this and would
appreciate any help at all.
