Right, this file is from is pyvtk and not vtk.  pyvtk and vtk should
coexist peacefully.  I have it installed on my machines with no
problems.  For some reason your install of pyvtk is badly broken.  The
pyvtk package is usually installed into site-packages/pyvtk and not
site-packages/vtk.  I have no idea how yours was mis-installed.
