The VTK library is mainly concerned with graphical processing. I does
not implement a GUI. You may wish to look at KWWidgets
(http://www.kwwidgets.org/Wiki/KWWidgets). It is a GUI project related
to VTK, ITK, ParaView, etc. It is at a pre-release stage of developement
but is quite usable.
