[vtkusers] Is there some method like glnewlist in Op enGL I can use in VTK

Now, i just do a prigram using VTK,but the speed is  really a problem,and is the first time i use VTK,so i don't know the functions of it well~it seems the glnewlist in  OpenGL can crack my problem ,so coule someone tell me the similar way in VTK,or some other ways to deal with my problem.Thanks!
