[vtkusers] python ,mayaVI and VTK connect

please help me....
I need to star using python 2.5 for windows and i need to start using mayavi and VTK i have been to both web sites and there is a lot of staff ....
please tell me which versions or modules do i have to downnload for a windows pc
i want to be able to use both mayavi and VTK from python
