[vtkusers] ploting vectors , 3D arrays; field strength ; with vtk; from python

hi i am new at VTK am using python 
how can i plot filed vector with VTK; i wan to plot things like sine in 3D
electric fields; 3D arrays; intensity fields 
which are the comands ...note load up simple objects present in VTK like cones,cubes
