Hi Henry,

Have a look here (http://www.bioengineering-research.com/vtk/vtkit.htm)
for VTKit - its sounds like what you're looking for. All the Tcl/Tk
(8.4.14) and VTK (5.0.3) libs are statically linked into an executable
of about 4.7MB

This is a fairly easy way to build your own application as your Tcl
application files can be wrapped up inside VTKit.

There's zero documentation but you can read about Starkits and Starpacks
from the equi4.com website and at http://wiki.tcl.tk
