Hi Renaud,

I came across this a few years ago... I submitted this bug report with a 
patch that solved the problem.

Note that patch was just for vtkInteractorStyleTrackballActor.cxx - 
you'll need to make similar changes to vtkInteractorStyleJoystickActor.cxx
