[vtkusers] How to delete an element of a certain index from vtkArray

Dear vtk Friends,
                          I am using vtkDoubleArray in my algorithm. How can I delete a particular element of the array and the array will be automatically resized? I did not find any similar function in the vtkDoubleArray. Does any one know any solution about this?
