[vtkusers] polydata -polydata intersection

hi all,
    i would like to calculate the volume of the intersection of two  
closed polydata surfaces. i see there has been discussion regarding  
the same on the vtkusers list. it appears that there is not filter as  
of now to calculate the intersection volume. Does anyone any insight  
regarding the same. Any help is greatly appreciated.
