[vtkusers] Axis issues

Hi,
 
I am having problems with setting up 3D axes with tick marks.  When I use vtkAxisActor it disapears if I am rotating / zooming in certain directions.  If I use vtkAxisActor2D when I rotate the axis it can come "unhinged" from where it should be.  Has anyone else seen such wierd behavior with the axis objects when you zoom / rotate?
