[vtkusers] Mac OS X 10.5 - which version of vtk

I hope some one can clarify this for me

I see the latest version of vtk is 5.2.1 according to vtk.org  web  
site. I have downloaded a version from CVS repository which appears to  
be version 5.3.0  -

I have compiled and used the 5.3.0 version for the last 3 months seems  
to work well under Cocoa as well as  X11. I do wonder if this is  
really 5.0.3 and has just got the minor and build versions the wrong  
way round

Can anyone clarify please
