[vtkusers] vtkFloatArray : Unable to Allocate 40********* elements of size 4

Hi,
  I am getting above error " vtkFloatArray : Unable to Allocate
40********* elements of size 4" when running my program on a Dell
OptiPlex 330 desktop with Ubuntu 9.10.  operating system. Strangely, I
am getting no error when running the same program on dell laptop with
ubuntu installation. Can anybody give me a clue about how to resolve
this issue.
