[vtkusers] Shrink Wrapping/Membrane surface with VTK

Has anyone implemented any algorithm similar to this one using VTK?

It essentially takes a giant sheet/sphere and "squeezes" it towards a
set of points as one way to create a surface on the points.

I always like to ask before I spend time implementing things.
