[vtkusers] VtkGeoView Black Center Of Globe

Does anyone know why the example for vtkGeoView shows a black globe except
for the perimeter? I can rotate and zoom but the center of the globe remains
black.

If I hit the 'W' key then I can see the wireframe which shows the whole
globe poly is drawn and also the aligned image is also drawn on the
wireframe lines.
