[vtkusers] 3D image segmentation using MIP

Dear users,

I have a 3D image that I want to segment. 
I'd like to to apply a MIP, and the extract a mask from it. Then, I'd like
to apply that mask to the 3D image.
Is this possible? Any ideas about how can I do this?
