Why should vtk not be able to run on a guest? Did you have troubles?

Just install it on the Win XP guest as you would if it were no guest.

It might be that the Graphics Card gets emulated by the CPU.  But that depends… And usually it’s not that big of an issue.

Can VTK be made to work on WinXP guest (Win7 host) in Oracle Virtual Box <https://www.virtualbox.org/> ? Can it work inside virtual machine with Windows guest at all?

 

If yes, how?
