Hi Rick, 

try to set Font Family as VTK_FONT_FILE, and try to use the attached ttf
files to show Russian (Europe.ttf) characters

m_pvtkTextActor->GetTextProperty()->SetFontFamily(VTK_FONT_FILE);
m_pvtkTextActor->GetTextProperty()->SetFontFile(l_strFontFile.c_str());
