Hi Bill,
That was exactly the paper I read:
On page 6 it is written: (paragraph 3.1 Edge Map)
"We can use any gray-level or binary edge map defined in the image processing literature (cf. [9])"
So I wanted to know if there was any particular reason for choosing a Laplacian one ?
