Hi everybody,
I am looking for information about the ThresholdSegmentationLevelSet
example.
I was reading the following message from Josh Cates (in
http://www.itk.org/pipermail/insight-users/2002-September/001141.html)
Just a couple of tips using this filter: Your initialization should be
a
closed surface such as a sphere or a box. A single point or line will
disintigrate under its own curvature after only a few iterations. The
key
to getting good results is obviously to find the correct threshold
parameters, which will be a trial and error process for your dataset.
Does anybody out there know how one can actually initialize the level
set with a sphere or a box when one uses the GUI in this example?
Thanks a lot,
Lara
