[Insight-users] Centerline length of a "pipe"

Hello,
           I have a "pipe" visual object which may be 
cylindrical
conical or bent pipe. I want to calculate the center line length
of the pipe. Is there any algorithm available in VTK for this?. I 
posted this question to user list couple of times, but there was 
no answer. please help me with this, I am stuck with the 
problem.
