Hi Luis,

I noticed this question and had a follow up, I've wondered this myself.
The DICOM ImageIO classes have a write function in them - are they there
to just conform to an imageIO template, or do they have some other
functionality?

has a table that shows DICOM having Read / Write capability - am I
reading
the graph wrong, or is that a DICOM 3d format possibly?
