[Insight-users] Application directory in CVS repository

Hi Silvester,

In preparation to the 1.2 release,
The Applications directory has been
moved to a separate CVS module.

You can get it by doing:

cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@public.kitware.com:/cvsroot/Insight co 
InsightApplications


(in a single command line).

The reason for this change is that new
users get frustrated trying to build the
demo applications when they are testing
the toolkit for the first time.

Some of the applications have some level
of complexity, and require third party
libraries like FLTK, OpenGL, GLUT, QT and VTK.

By moving Applications to a separate checkout,
we are making much cleaner the configuration
process.

It also makes clear that ITK does not depend
on any of these third party libraries.
