[Insight-users] segmentation of brain

hi everyone,
    I am planning to use ITK for segmentation of
brain in to the three major tissues (White matter,gray
matter and CSF). If any one has prior experience doing
this please suggest me the right
tools to select from the toolkit. Also i would
appreciate if you share with me any difficulties you
had doing using ITK to segment the brain.
