Hi Sharad,

You can download VTK from

    http://www . vtk . org

The official release is available at:

   http://www . vtk . org/get-software . php#release

There is no .zip distribution of VTK.
Winzip should be able to open the tar.gz files.

If you still have problems with the tar.gz
version, you could simply get the source code
through CVS. Instructions for CVS download
are available in the same page.
