Hi Chinnaswami,

If you are starting with ITK, you will save a lot of time
and effort by first reading some sections for the SoftwareGuide.

Please read the chapters on

1) "DataRepresentation/Image"
2) "Segmentation methods"
3) "Reading and Writing images"


In order to compile the examples you simply have to enable
"BUILD_EXAMPLES" when you run CMake for configuring your project.
You will find details about this on the SoftareGuide.
