[Insight-users] 3d mesh distance

Thanks to Mathieu and Mark for their replies.

I should have made myself clearer:

Suppose I have two meshes M1 and M2 such that for each
mesh, its 2D projection onto the xy plane is equal to
the region R. 

Now, find the distance between M1 and M2 at each
integer point in R.

I guess I could do the following: for each vertex v
in M1, compute the distance to M2, then use
interpolation to compute the values at integer points.

Heading outside the scope of ITK, I suppose.
