[Insight-users] About optimizers and more

Hi Luis,

I have seen many posts in this list (including yours, of course) giving
insightful advice on issues related to image registration. Do you think it
would be possible to summarize some of those and publish them in the ITK
Wiki? I guess something like that was the idea of having an "ITK Best of
the List" section.

I was thinking in having different sections: one for optimizers, one for
metrics, one for interpolators, and one for transformations. We could
include information about selecting each component and how to set up the
parameters. I know we could not include specific advice because it would
depend on the images being used but at least we could give some general
guidelines.

I would certainly volunteer for such an initiative, if there is an
agreement for starting it.
