[Insight-users] Shapefile reader

Hi!

I'd like to know if there is a way to easily read shapefiles using
itk? Shapefiles is a format used in ESRI's ArcGIS and is a defacto
standard in the geomatics community.

For the record, I'm interested in the geometry of a road network,
which is found in a .shp file. For now, as an intermediate solution, I
have transformed my shapefile in a .tiff using ArcMap, but it's not
really what I want.
