[Insight-users] Trouble manipulating dicom CT File

Hi,

  I am trying to read in a series of CT Dicom files. I am successful in doing so. But there is a problem. The original CT file says that the High Bit is 12 and Bits Stored is 13.  But after I read the files, process them and re-write them to CT Dicom series, the header contains High Bit as 15 and Bits Stored as 16.  Any clue as to how I can fix this ? I tried to change the value for the appropriate tags, but I still get the same result.
