The Departments of Radiology and Electrical and Computer Engineering
at the University of British Columbia (UBC) invite applications for
those interested in pursuing a Masters or Doctoral level degree in the
area of medical imaging. The successful candidate will enroll in UBC's
innovative Biomedical Engineering Program, which emphasizes a balance
of biomedical engineering and life science study with a focus on
clinical and industrial application. Although many projects are
available, it is anticipated that the student will primarily work in
the area of quantitative analysis of magnetic resonance images (MRIs)
of patients with neurological disorders, such as multiple sclerosis.
