[Insight-users] active contours without edges

I saw in the archives for this list that there has been discussion of
active contours without edges in ITK before, but I didn't see the
resolution of those discussions...

Someone offered up an implementation of active contours without edges
for ITK, has this implementation been picked up?

I guess, in short what is the status of active contours without edges
in ITK?  If there is nothing at this point, would this
