Dear all,
I would like to know if there is any method where I can calculate all
the relative maximums in a 3D image and then, with these points
(relative maximums) create a new image.

Thanks for your help
Best regards
Irene

Hi Irene,
This filter might do what you are looking for:

Hi Irene,

In addition to Xabier's suggestion,

You may also want to look at:

Hi,

Maybe also this one:

http://www.itk.org/Doxygen/html/classitk_1_1RegionalMaximaImageFilter.ht
ml

It will also work with floating pixel types.

Ga?tan

No, it's not supposed to be repeated.
I'm not able to reproduce that on my side, so I can't tell you more.

Brad gave me a cmake option a long time ago, to disable the build
during "make install". I can't find it though, but I know it exists :P

Hi all,

  I'm looking to collect a few overlap measures, e.g. Hausdorff, Dice in
ITK, but didn't want to reimplement if could be avoided. I found the
Hausdorff filter, but "no Dice". 8)

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated,
-dan

It goes by the more obscure name

    itk::SimilarityIndexImageFilter

Dear ITK users!

I want to change the header of a dicom file. It works fine with all but
one dicom tag. I cannot change the series description (0008|103E).
My code below is adapted from DicomImageReadChangeHeaderWrite.
Does anyone know why
    itk::EncapsulateMetaData<string>( dictionary, "0008|103E", "a new
series description, THIS DOES NOT WORK" );
is not working, i.e. after saving the dicom file the tags has not
changed?
Thanks,
Andreas

reader->SetImageIO( gdcmImageIO );

TImage::Pointer inputImage = reader->GetOutput();

typedef itk::MetaDataDictionary DictionaryType;
DictionaryType& dictionary = inputImage->GetMetaDataDictionary();

itk::EncapsulateMetaData<string>( dictionary, "0008|1010", "a new
station name, THIS WORKS" );
itk::EncapsulateMetaData<string>( dictionary, "0008|103E", "a new series

writer->SetImageIO(gdcmImageIO);

On older versions of MACOSX you could not load a .dylib. This is a
recent addition to MacOSX. The .so is a loadable module on the Mac.
So, I don't think you can get rid of it.

I believe that in Slicer3/Libs/ModuleDescription/ModuleFactory.cxx we
use itksys::DynamicLoader::LibExtension() except for the MAC, where we
return ".dylib" as the extension. We did this because kwsys changed
the way it returned the extenstion for MAC. We also did the same for
Insight/Code/Common/itkObjectFactoryBase.cxx.
