0) Welcome to ITK !


1) Read the ITK  Software Guide

     http://www.itk.org/ItkSoftwareGuide.pdf

    in particular the Chapter:

    "Reading and Writing Images"


2) Go to the Insight source tree, to the directory

            Insight/Examples/IO

    and copy the code from the example:

       ImageReadDicomSeriesWrite.cxx
