[Insight-users] extrapolate filter

I have found the classes itkExtrapolateImageFunctionand itkNearestNeighborExtrapolateImageFunction, however I am unable to find image filters that use this functionality. Does a filter like this exist?

I would like to "close" a bone fracture gap in a CT image.
