Hi John,

You may want to look at the Image Registration Framework.

It is described in the ITK Software Guide:

Chapter 8: "Image Registration": in pdf-pages 347-534.


In particular you would need : Multi-Modality registration.

You will find source code examples for the material described
on the Software Guide, in the directory:


        Insight/Examples/Registration


In particular:

             ImageRegistration4.cxx
