[Insight-users] reflexive boundary in ITK ?

Dear All,

when using neighborhood iterators, it is not possible to specify some
kind of reflexive or symmetric boundaries,
for the available options are either periodic type or constant type
(with some derivative variants).
How do you usually circumvent this problem ?
It is clear that iterators should be used when the boundary detection is
not needed (mainly for speed purposes); however
what is the best "itk" solution regarding the computation on the
boundaries ?
Please share a bit of your knowledge if you ever faced the same problem,
aside from writing a "itkSymmetricBoundaryCondition.h" although this
could be useful to some extent.

Regards,
François
